HEALTH GUARANTEE
At Grindstone Kennel we take great pride in our puppies. They are Vet checked, have dew claws removed at three to five days old, wormed at four and six weeks old, and are given shots at six weeks and 8 weeks of age. Our puppies are indoors and have never spent a night outside. They are taken outside on warm days to enjoy some sunshine and fresh air. All puppies are given lots of love and attention starting at an early age. By the time they are ready to go to a new home they are well socialized.
Terry Claycamp, (hereinafter called “SELLER”), owner of Grindstone Kennels, Hays, Kansas and__________________(hereinafter called “BUYER(S)”) hereby enter into this sale agreement on this_______day of ________________20___. SELLER agrees to sell to the BUYER(S) the Labrador Retriever (hereinafter called “DOG”) described below.

Ownership of the DOG will be transferred to the BUYER(S) in the return for_________paid in cash or cashiers check before the DOG leaves the possession of the SELLER. Shipping cost are to be paid by the BUYER.
BUYER(S) has 5 days in which to take this DOG to their veterinarian and have it examined for any health problems. If a problem that cannot be rectified is found, the BUYER(S) may ship the DOG, with the papers, back to Grindstone Kennel and receive a full refund of their purchase price. Veterinary fees are the responsibility of the BUYER(S). SELLER will need a written statement from BUYER(S) veterinarian stating what health problem he has found in the DOG.
BUYER(S) have till 26 months of age in which to have this DOG’s hips OFA certified and eye CERF done.
SELLER agrees to replace DOG with a DOG of similar quality only after receiving an OFA or CERF evaluation stating that the DOG is genetically dysplastic or can not pass CERF. BUYER(S) may request a refund of the purchase price in lieu of a replacement DOG. No refund will be given on a DOG unable to obtain an OFA rating due to injury, lack of exercise, nutritional deficiency or obesity. SELLER reserves the right to have the DOG checked put by an independent veterinarian to determine condition of DOG. NO WARRANTY will be given for any DOG used in breeding.
Claim for replacement or refund shall be in writing and be accompanied by the following.
No guarantee will be given if the DOG has been used for breeding. This guarantee excludes death or serious faults caused by accident. No other guarantee is expressed or implied.
